Untitled

An erasure by fire
from her diary of ash

            it's
      better                  burn
                               a                            liar
than  to
 drown            an honest
             rat

Or, the straight version:

An erasure by fire
from her diary of ash-
it's better burn a liar
than to drown an honest rat

A tanaga for Toads.  Also submitted to Poetry Pantry

I don't think the world can handle all the ash from all those liars burnt

Truth isn't always pretty, but it's beautifully apt.

And what Margaret said. :-)

There would be a definite blackout from all the liar ash these days.

Aren't all writers creative liars?

Lovely the concrete layout here - it adds impact... Glad I popped by - albeit a little belatedly...
