Ecclesiastes in the trees
if you listen.
Psalms from the rain soaked ground
if you slow down.
But I don't for fear of what
I might be missing -
moving faster
than the speed of Heaven's sound.

MZ--Not only do you craft powerful poems in just a few words, but you also combine words in incredibly clever ways. Your near rhyme, along with the playfulness you use so deftly, results in your pieces being gems.

Yes, but my running has slowed down to a casual walk. I don't know if I am catching up to it (Heaven) or it is catching up to me.
Wonderful prayer in my interpretation.

though there may be nothing new under the sun, yet still each rainfall astounds us. especially here in the recently parched, now deluged west. ~

I feel like I need to read these books again to get the full effect. I don't want to be like the speaker and miss out on the Word of God because I'm too busy cleaning or whatever.

I love how you've reminded us that scripture is hidden in plain sight --- in nature.
