Root Deep And Rise

Root deep and rise!

Uncurl from your seed sleep
reach / seek the trickle seep of rain
tendril / tunnel through
freshly turned dirt
toward the sane certainty
of season, sun, and spin till earth

green boned and bloom bellied spring breeze sway
sure of the way and want that you're made

to open -
sweet glimpse of your creator's eyes

Root deep and rise!

I love all the positive energy in this poem.. good to remember that things will grow, despite inclemency.

This speaks to some recent pain and healing that I've experienced.

This is exactly the sense and hope when there are days instead of month's to winter solstice... it can and will turn.

I like the exuberance of this piece. It makes me want to reach and grow as well.

Aaah, a glimpse of the vernal equinox as we in the norther hemisphere face winter solstice. Beautifully inspiring, Mama Zen.

A spring poem sounds awfully good on this first day of snow.

These are the types who lurk around the entrance of the abortion clinic across the street from my work. Damning the embrace in the name of the produce.
