The Bipolar Poet

Writes happy sentences
that end in black periods.

Swings from exclamation!
to ellipses . . .

and is often (an unwilling)
parenthetical to herself.

So clever and creative. A profile of a wordsmith self.

I love the unwilling parentheses at the end. I'm imagining her wrapped up in her own straitjacketed arms.

Bipolar bears live in the arctic so that they can have six months of daylight to walk around naked, have indiscriminate sex and run out of money, then have six months of darkness to isolate and complain that the seals are talking about them.

I think this describes many of us. A witty piece, for sure.

I am laughing! Because I KNOW how they write. I loved this...still smiling.

Makes me wonder how other medical conditions make people write...this could be a book!

Still smiling. thanks.

Ah...bipolar, the most misdiagnosed modern day (must have) mental disorder.

Reminds me of a joke of where an art critic is being interviewed.

Journalist: Where have all the artists gone?

Art Critic: They have all been cured !

What's poetry without a shot of mad to keep it exuberantly tragic? Perfect constructions here.

Love the title...I feel I am a bipolar poet sliding on the depressive side.
