Climate Change

I thought the angst of my 30s was long gone,
and I was feeling mighty fine.
Looking at 50 and soaking up the sun,
forgetting

there's a storm for every season.

Great turn at the end. Before that, "soaking up the sun and forgetting" was sounding pretty nice. It's amazing what you can do with a few words and a little space.

wish i could tell you it gets better in one's sixties, but i refuse to go there so i wouldn't know... nor will i allow my daughter to turn 40 because that would make me too old (even though i WAS a teenage mother.)

hope you're doing well, MZ!
