Flash Fiction 55 Time!

Club 55

Find the chemistry
between the hard consonants
and the lush, organic vowels.
Experiment with the explosive
"S" in a variety of positions.
Vary the swell and sway,
the pulse and pound of your rhythms.
Rhyme only when it rides just right
on the ridge of your tongue.
Alliterate,
and hold

each caesura till it melts.

Then, scrawl 55 words just like the G-Man taught ya!  If you've written a 55, let us know in the comments.  And, check out Open Link Monday at Real Toads while you're out and about!

This is delish, MZ--and I love the pic. I am sorry to say, I have nothing. I have to get rid of my Friday programming and learn to remember Tuesdays, I guess :C

Hey MZ. This is again so very clever. A great passion for poetry illustrated here.

Here's mine belatedly. Please don't feel obligated to visit at this late date. I had a very serious one I worked on quite a bit, but it just wasn't right, so came up with this one (which is soso!) Oh well.

Love the close. I almost want to add "repeat" like what is on the shampoo bottle. I think of nouns as the carbohydrates of the meal and verbs as proteins: http://www.looseleafnotes.com/2010/11/full-plate-of-a-z/
