The Place You Go

You're Thing One.
There's no Thing Two.
Do I ask too much of you?
To stay this small.
To stay thisclose.
And, to let me be the place you go.

A nod to Dr. Seuss on his birthday for Poetry Pantry.

This is so clever, and full of love. For Dr. Seuss, huh? And I thought it was for someone much smaller....

When it comes to emotions and nice feelings, it is enough to just give hints. Others that follow will fall into place! Nicely MZ!

A wonderful tribute to a wonderful writer.

Tomorrow (or Tuesday, if the snow does what it's supposed to do) we'll have an all-day readathon to celebrate Dr. Suess.

Thanks for starting my celebration early...

Love in a green egg, with a nice top hat and bow tie thrown in. Class.

Ah this is so sweet! I don't think it's a lot to ask, but I'm a woman too, men might have a different take.

Beautiful. <3

so long as spam-I-am hides his face
he does not belong to this place
this mighty pen just like a cake
the best birth wishes are what you make

Have never heard the request for devotion and/or monogamy stated so poetically!
