Mix Tapes

You were just another lover I never had,
slipping me bad
mix tapes and hoping - what?
That "Don't Know What You Got"
would get you in my pants?
Not a chance, babe.  Not a chance.

For Corey's prompt at Real Toads

Said aloud, a perfect squelch-er. I wonder does she keep the tape?

Damn it!!! I thought it always worked. Thought the opening notes of Unchained Melody sounded a little like panties sliding down...lol. This was priceless...a Zen Zinger, and a whole lot fun. Thanks for coming out!

Laughin at the invisible but all too apparent raised eyebrow at the end--it takes the right tune, and the right player--nothing worse than a lame mix tape to turn you off forever.

Mixed messages in that mix tape maybe.. but your message is loud and clear.. short, and maybe not sweet, but honest. I love it.
