I shovel the stars
and clear my sky to black to
harbor your pale moon.
Winds arranged; clouds swept
aside and held back. I know
you'll rise soon and bathe
me blind in your shine,
the lush liquid loam of your
light where primrose blooms
open themselves at
sunset, and I do too -
to harbor your moon.

Love the shoveling of stars :)beautiful!
Beautiful poem with a great sense of atmosphere and word painting...
Its almost...sensual. Beautifully written.
There is a subtle beauty to your work, which is so evident in this poem. I like the way the haiku form has been transformed into stanzas, often running on from one to the next, which kind of ends the finality of the 3 line restriction.
out of the park gorgeous!!!!!
Your 'lush liquid loam' sent shivers, a real stunner of a poem!
Just gorgeous writing! Loved this piece!
Serene, sensual and very visual, with some really nice alliteration that just sort of ices the cake.
The first line grabbed me - wonderful

Gorgeous! And thank you for preparing the skies; I didn't know it was you who did that. :)
Stunning and sensual and lovely. I love it. I was enthralled by the words flowing into one another, the alliteration and the imagery. It feels so good to read it, elicits powerful sensory responses. Fine work.
Lovely wording
Ahhh. Very nice! You are a good person to have around! K.
This so elegant, MZ. i love the simplicity of the last stanza. Beautiful.
Wow, this was outstanding! I have to read it again...it is magical and so beautiful!

A peace passed over me as I read this, peace and tranquility.
Beautiful!!
This is my Day 3 ~~ Harbor.
Who can ever think of shoveling stars...awesome!
We think the lucent moon erases the night sky, but here there is a partner to the process, where the sky does not erase what it first does not willingly receive. Gorgeous metaphor of the accommodation and receipt of something equally shared and delighted. - Brendan
Gorgeous words that transport me.
Using something of the earth to move the stars--great imagination. The emotions shows as transparent, too, with a great finale. Nice work.
This is beautiful... sweeping the stars ... the image of cleaning the sky, awaiting the moon...
sooo sweet! Love it!
So beautiful and moving. That first stanza may be one of the best I've ever read.
Mmmm. moon baths and night sky harbors. What images you reveal in the night sky MZ. Lovely.
