Flattened

Bending
is breaking
with more grace
and less cussin',
less fussin' and mess,
but flat is still flat.

This love
that we're making
is just to keep
from discussin'
if it's time for pickin'
the wheat from the chaff.

That first stanza is killer and brutal fact. I like this one a lot. Short and punchy.
