Drought Breaker

I've taken up with a weatherman.
He promises sunny days.
But, I'm a rainy hearted girl,
and it's cloudy skies that soothe me.

He keeps a careful watch on the dryline.
He keeps his arm around my waist.
But, I'm a rainy hearted girl,
and it's thunderstorms that move me.

And, you've got drought breaker eyes.

For the Sunday Challenge at Real Toads.

Oh my..! From the first line, I knew something remarkable was on its way. It's like you draw ideas from a secret water source high in mountains I'll never be able to reach.

I love the narrative you have built up around the image, but not just a narrative, entire characters and weather systems too! Well done and viva la

Sharp intake of breath on reading that last line - touch of remembered lasciviousness!
