Says a lot about vision, what we are willing to see, what we are willing to be seen as, and what we allow ourselves to see, all done with your trademark wit. Great job. Thanks
I love this. Love love love it. I don't use my glasses at the computer, so I often make the mistake of getting up and going somewhere else in the house without them. Then I quite literally walk into walls, because my depth perception is off. One would suppose I would learn. Anyway, I also love DP, but she was wrong about the glasses thing, whereas you are right. LOL K
I was grinning and grinning at this, which made the boys ask, "What is going on?" and so I read it to them. Hubby howled, son looked thoughtful and said, "Gotta be a grown up thing."...this was just 'MINT'!

Loved it! Also, love Dorothy Parker (you are as witty as DP)!
LOL. Or much else, either!
Ha! That's hilarious. :)
When I tell my husband he's gorgeous, he always says, "Yeah, but you're not wearing your glasses." Cracks me up every time.

Ha ha, is THAT why I havent had a date since 2000? My sister says lying on the couch with a magazine over my face isnt sending out the proper signals.
Love it
LOL. Very clever.
Fun poem... I love the message that comes across to me. :)
HA! Vanity causes a lot of self-inflicted injuries. Nice one, MZ.

This is so true, I can't think why no one thought of it before.
Ha! Indeed: it takes two to get things going.
Truer words have never been spoken... ;)
Excellent observation!

Great for a chuckle! Love your creative take on the prompt.
As a glasses wearing gal, I love this. :)

So true, but then may be we don't really want to see those passes anyway?? Men who make passes... are a bit dodgy sometimes :)
Oh, this is so GOOD!
