I come bearing gifts;
loose nimbus hair, perfumed feet,
a single flower.
A single flower
to press between the pages
of my trembling thighs.
Trembling thighs that ache
for your rough, vagabond touch.
I come bearing gifts.

Ooooo... still in the naught, naughty mood... haha
I like the "loose, nimbus hair".
between a flower between the thighs and vagabond touch, my imagination took off...
MZ, love this piece. The carryover worked so well linking the pieces together. The seven lines are great, each of them. Again, you own the Haiku. Thanks.
Love this ... Stevie Nicks has loose nimbus hair and I love her too!
Nice pattern and great images specially of the flower and trembling thighs ~
You are doing very well with this form MZ ~
Nimbus hair = Bardot hair.
Right? :)
Sultry stuff, this. Hope all is well!
Visual, and beautiful at it---a sense of floating grace, delicacy and passion--all in such few words. Very effective leading into each stanza with the last line of the preceding one--the repetition is hypnotic.
Another wonderful cycle of haiku taking the reader onto a place and a stream of thought. Really effective. Well done.
You caught my attention, my imagination and more! Very sensually light, carved so precisely it brought to mind Sappho's poems. Your crafting each line to build up to its climax - so to speak - is visually stunning. I've hoboed about a little... :)
Ah, that delicious temptation of a vagabond touch. Wonderful progression and a true pleasure to read.
Dangling temptation ~~ nice cascading set. Thank you for sharing.
Here is my Day 23.
Very visual indeed, MZ.
This is just lovely, MZ. I agree with Hedge--the repeating lines is especially hypnotic and powerful. Well done. K.
hmmmm...sexy...love the rough, vagabond touch..
Sensual poetry at its best.
to press between the pages
of my trembling thighs
This struck me as an original and powerful image, an unexpected metaphor that carried forward the sensuality of the poem. Lovely.
Has all the grace and ceremony of a geisha love-fest. The recipient better sure be damn grateful. - Brendan
I love the haiku form. You nailed this one... or were you nailed. Oh well, it's good either way. :)
I like the way this naturally rolls, not unlike the loose nimbus hair, flowing from verse to verse
Sensuous.
Ooh, I love this one! The haiku form works so well with it. Very sensual. Hope your gifts are appreciated!
Sensual, soft and deeply visual. I love how you connect the stanzas full circle.
I do love how you carried over each stanza!
Sexy poem with fitting images-- the flower pressed between the pages of the thighs, the wordplay also...
ha ha.. loved it.. SmileS!
That's pretty great right there.
Very sexy. And very very good. Thank you.
