By crook or craft or
pale moonlight, I'll have your lips
'fore the pass of night.
And, I'll have your skin,
bloodless and bare, wrapped round my
bones; I'll have your hair.
Your skull, your spine, your
tend'rest parts. But, fear not, love,
you can keep your heart.

Wow MZ...
A trio of passion...Loved them!
Romantic and creepy. Enjoyed this muchly - superb work. :^)
Shivers!!! So good.
How wonderful! I love this series of haiku!
I'm a little speechless. Go read what I just wrote. I'm not gonna babble a bunch of junk about being on the same wavelength, but...
Except mine isn't hai...hkai...you know!
Sizzling passion ... what a way to hone a craft!! Nicely done ~~
Bringing the grue like no other. Well, almost no other. Probably the most unhaiku-like haiku I've ever read, and all the better for it.
You are amazing, MZ! And, yes, romantic and creepy all at the same time!! Hope your week is going well!
Sylvia
I'm always glad I stop by and read your work, and this was definitely no exception!
Passion, the sinister and rhyme, all in haiku. Excellently done.
Like the chill and romance in the triple haiku set ~
I think you are getting better and better with this form ~
Love the set.
Great rhythm and tone here, MZ!
I love the way you slipped some internal rhyme into your haiku - it just lifted a very beat-less form to something with a whole lot of pizzazz.
yeah there is a mighty creepy edge to this...taking on the identity...great flow to this MZ
Masterfully done - who would/could say No?
Oh really cool, really harnessing the gothic here. Also love that you brought back your pieces composed of haikus, they are always good reads. Thanks
I love it! I am placing it on my "My List" Page. If you wish me to remove the link, just let me know.
Oooh! Love it! So great, so great.
